These wings are packed with flavor and sure to be a crowd-pleaser at your next Baltimore Ravens watch party!

Yields: Approximately 2 dozen wings Prep time: 20 minutes Cook time: 45-55 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 dozen chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for deeper flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your spice preference)
  • For the Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot or your favorite)
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Equipment:

  • Large bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack (optional, for crispier skin)
  • Small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl

Instructions:

Serve Immediately: Serve the gameday wings immediately with your favorite dipping sauces (such as blue cheese or ranch dressing) and celery and carrot sticks.

Preheat Oven and Prepare Wings: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easier cleanup. If using, place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.

Season the Wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, smoked paprika (if using), and cayenne pepper. Ensure the wings are evenly coated with the seasonings.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet (or wire rack). Bake for 45-55 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are cooked through and the skin is crispy and golden brown. An internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) should be reached.

Prepare the Sauce: While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, or in a microwave-safe bowl, combine the hot sauce, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and garlic powder. Whisk or stir until well combined and smooth. If using a saucepan, keep the sauce warm over low heat.

Toss the Wings in Sauce: Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a clean large bowl. Pour the prepared sauce over the wings and toss gently until they are evenly coated.
